Notice to Competitors –

By registering for the 2009 Lexus Adelaide to Port Lincoln Yacht Race, the person making the entry acknowledges that they have read the Notice of Race and its addendum “Emergency Response Plan” and agree that their crew will be made aware of this plan.

Changes have been made to the wind limits when postponements may apply for the event, and these are detailed in the Notice of Race, and will also be detailed in the Sailing Instructions. A zero tolerance will apply to compliance with the safety requirements. Any boat found not complying, after a random audit, will automatically be declared a non starter, and action under the rules may be taken against the skipper, if the “Intention to start” form has been signed, agreeing that all entry requirements, as detailed in the Notice of Race and Sailing Instructions have been met.
